How I do the weekly food shop for our family of 5

You can get stuck in a rut with food shopping and feel really unorganised with it. We are on a set budget for the month for groceries, so for the past 6 months I have done meal plans to help us stick to what we can afford and we don’t get sucked into all of the offers that the big supermarkets always have on. We have a online delivery saver pass for Tesco, so every Tuesday we get our shopping delivered to our door for only £3 a month. This is ideal for us as we don’t have a car. If we run out of anything or need anything extra through the week, we tend to go to Lidl as it is only a 5 minute walk away from our house so very convenient! Shopping online means I can be extra vigilant with what we spend and it really limits us getting tempted by any offers on things that we don’t really need. Continue reading

(Even though she is in my head haha). Continue reading

I firstly made some Halloween biscuits which were delicious! For my second bake however, I really wanted to test the new buttery spread and see how good it really was. I therefore chose to bake vanilla cupcakes with a vanilla buttercream icing, both components needing the Stork With Butter ingredient.
